Allen Meadows - Score: 90-93 (2019 January)

Here there is no reductive funk and in fact the nose is really quite pretty with its airy mix of red and dark pinot fruit that display top notes of spice and herbal tea. The forward and quite supple lighter weight flavors possess a beguiling mouthfeel partially due to the refined tannins, all wrapped in a sophisticated, lilting and energetic finish. This is an elegant and classy if not particularly dense wine.
